God tells me time and time again the plans he has for me.
He’s right beside me on that boulder
telling me to never give up on my dreams,
even though lots of coaches think it’s not for me.
Why listen?
When it’s all said and done, the negativity has no effect
if I shut out the noise, all the outside noise.
It’s about my future, and what I know my calling is.
Thanks for all the feedback,
but I’ll politely decline.
Don’t need it,
nor do I need your voice constantly in the back of my head.
It’s not what they call, constructive criticism.
Nothing like that.
I do find their words driving me,
driving me to be the best,
so maybe I do need that harsh language at times.
Is it for the best?
Maybe it is, maybe it’s not.
Who decides that though,
is it you, or the person telling you how to live your life?
