I began writing as a child in school. Math used to be my favorite subject, until I discovered just how much I enjoyed putting my thoughts into words.

It wasn’t until my junior year at St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. that I realized I had a genuine passion for writing short stories. I consistently earned A’s in my English courses, and with each assignment, I became more confident in my ability to tell stories and bring ideas to life through writing.

During my second semester of college, I realized I wanted to take that passion a step further and pursue English as my major. What began as something I enjoyed in the classroom eventually became something I wanted to continue exploring on my own time.

That desire eventually led me here.

I created this blog as a space to write freely, share stories, and put my thoughts onto paper. Some of what you’ll find here will be fiction. Some will be personal. Some may simply be a freewrite that started with a single thought and went wherever the words took me.

Whatever the piece may be, I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.
